New York Film & Television for Diversity & Inclusion (NYFTDI) is a grassroots coalition of Film and TV professionals working to address the lack of diversity and inclusion of Black, Indigenous and People of Color in the film and television industry in the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut area. Through mentorship programs, educational opportunities, and community outreach collaborations, NYFTDI works to build bridges between BIPOC crew and encourage  new and existing opportunities in Film and TV. By focusing on BIPOC, we create pathways for equity and economic empowerment for all marginalized groups.
